Wilma! You don't get to decide on the content of my essays. You aren't my editor. And even if you were you wouldn't get to do that. If my writing implies that black people are making racism up because I haven't "delineated the 200-year history of white anti-racists, especially the names, where they were active, and blah, blah, blah...", then I guess I'm guilty as charged 😂

But at least I can take comfort in the knowledge that I'm in the good company of pretty much everybody who writes about race today. I seriously wonder how many writers meet this absolutely preposterous standard. Clearly you're not interested in arguing n good faith.

Okay, I think that's enough of this. You are, as you say, entitled to your opinion. Thankfully in the opinion of the vast majority of my other readers you're wrong.
