…ol. Agree with everything you've written here - there's great money to be made with outrage though. People depend on Kanye as part of their condemnation for cash scheme. The same was true of Trump when I first began here.... if he so much as whispered a little bit of nonsense, someone would take it, amplify it beyond all reason simply to tear it down.

Ultimately I'd say this instinct is the reason Trump won the presidency. As they say, there's no such thing as bad press. And Trump got soooo much press just by saying awful/stupid things.
