100%. Don’t get me wrong, I do think that understanding the history is important. It’s important in all contexts, not just racially. But the only point in looking at the past is guiding ourselves towards the future.

The people who want to pretend nothing has changed hold back progress just as much as those who want to deny anything ever happened.
