Absolutely. The problem is that the agenda is so broad. In fact, I think it's unconscious in many cases.

I don't think that all the TV shows portraying black people as drug dealers and murderers do so to harm perceptions of African Americans. I think they do it because they've bought into the idea that this is somehow "authentic." And haven't stopped to think about what that means.

Black people do this too.
