😅 Actually you're the one seeing a stereotype in me...I'm not American.
And I'm not implying that anybody ripped anything off. I don't have any idea where you got your claim that the word racism first appeared in France, but you're wrong. Why you think that you being wrong means I'm pressupposing that anybody was "ripping it off in order to minimise what happens in America", I have no idea. But you're wrong asbout that too.
You seem to be doing an awful lot of mind-reading about what I think and what my perspective is and you're wrong about that too. For the umpteenth time, "racism" refers to a specific form of bigotry. Using this word to refer to this bigotry doesn't invalidate or diminish any other forms of bigotry.
I've seen people use the word "racism" to refer to anti-semitism for example. And they're wrong to do this because "Jewish" isn't a race (again, the whole concept of race is wrong, but that's a different conversation). But this semantic inaccuracy doesn't imply that anti-semitism is any less wrong or evil than racism. It just suggests that it has a different name. In this case, anti-semitism.
I'm not going to keep repeating this point. If you've made up your mind that I'm saying something I'm not, then that's up to you. I don't think I can be any more clear.
