Again, this isn't a good way to look at political tenures for the same reasons I gave in my Bin Laden example. Change happens slowly.
A leader doesn't come into power, snap their fingers, and make the world a better place for their supporters. Chances are, if you notice a correlation between a leader's election and an improvement in your life, they're profiting from the groundwork that the previous leader put in place.
As for Trump's impeachement, it was based on evidence. In the end, not enough evidence to convict him. Fair enough, that's the way it goes in courtrooms every day. I didn't bring up Trump's impeachment, it's old news to me, all I did was point out that it's nothing like the birther movement.
