I'm simply pointing out how stupid it is to imply that it's necessary to talk about all slavery every time you want to talk about a particular example of slavery. I'm pointing out how your need to point out that white people were enslaved too when it's totally irrelevant is born of a defensiveness that makes no sense. You aren't complicit in The Atlantic slave trade because you're white. Nothing I wrote suggests you are. There's no need to get so defensive.

Just as somebody might talk about the Holocaust without referencing every other example of genocide or ethnic cleansing in history. Get a grip.
