Are you high? I didn't say you were American. And seriously man, don't start talking about ad hominem when you come in to a stranger’s comments guns blazing with personal attacks and insults. If you speak to people with respect, you'll most likely get it back. Especially with me. But don't start crying if I match your energy.

Yes, the fact that millions of people get their news from "alternative" platforms where they're lied to by grifters who will say anything for a pay check, is why we seem to be unable to have serious, good-faith conversations about anything anymore. Too many people have been convinced that every issue has to be a fight where somebody gets DESTROYED by facts and logic.

Especially if they can't even ask a question on Google in a way that doesn't feed precisely into their existing biases. Then they throw around terms like “lame stream media” (🤦🏾‍♂️) because listening to some tween in his bedroom instead of people who are actually on the ground in these places makes them feel smart.

As you can see, I have to spend a lot of time defending my ideas and claims, something I’m happy to do. So I’m well motivated to get the details right. And usually do.

But yes, I'm very happy for people to read this exchange in perpetuity. You come off looking super smart 😉
