Because she's entitled and didn't want to follow the rules of the park. The conversation they had prior to the recording confirms this. Christian (politely) asked her to leash her dog, she refused, he offered an alternative, she refused, he made a vague threat about her dog. Shortly afterwards, she's threatening him and lying to the police.
And if the fact that you're trying to rewrite history regarding what happened even though there's a viral video that shows exactly what happened (!!!!) doesn't tell you everything you need to know about why Christian was recording (and why he was smart to do so), nothing I can say will get through to you. Can you imagine what you'd be saying if it was just his word against hers and no video?! Christian would probably be in jail for assault right now! And you'd be swearing blind that he deserved it and she should be awarded a sainthood!
If Amy was called racist without referring to Christian’s race then I'd be right there with you saying how ridiculous it was. I did just that in the case of Emma Sarley. Emma was fired completely unjustly, and even if she did say what she said with racist intent (and I'm not convinced she did), the harm done was minuscule and being fired and abused for that is completely unjust. But it's vanishingly unlikely that anybody with a brain would be calling Amy a racist if she hadn't mentioned Christian's race. Less likely still that she'd have been fired. And flat out impossible that she'd have been charged with filing a false police report if she hadn't filed a false police report.
By the way, the fact that she's choking her dog suggests that she's a negligent dog owner, not that she was distressed. There was absolutely no reason for her to do this. She stops leashing her dog because she notices Christian filming her from a good few metres away. She immediately walks over with the poor dog hanging by its collar rather than take the two extra seconds it would have taken to leash the dog (which, as we saw at the end of the video, was all that was required to end the situation). She continues to choke her dog for almost the entire video for absolutely no reason. Christian doesn't approach her at any point. And she makes no attempt to leave.
You're aware of all this, you have proof positive that she lied, yet you still want to defend her actions and pretend that she was an innocent victim in all of this. Why??!! I see that you're a dog owner too. Is that it? You want to pretend that her "elevated voice" was a reaction to the 911 dispatcher not hearing her? Seriously? Was her "PLEASE SEND THE COPS IMMEDIATELY" when she was in no danger also just so the dispatcher would be able to hear her? Was her lie that he assaulted her to help the dispatcher hear her? Did she hallucinate the "assault" because she was "distressed"?
I mean, come on! This is ridiculous.
