Couldn't agree more. It's so tragic.

And the worst part is that because this way of thinking is proliferating amongst teenagers, who don't have the perspective and critical thinking to see through it, and the adults around them are too busy "affirming" them to encourage them to think, fewer and fewer people see how regressive it all is.
