It's not just about losing your land, though if that were the only reason to fight, it would be enough, it's about having a total lack of options. Again, think about I seriously, how can you rebuild your life while trapped in the most densely populated stretch of land on Earth by a military force that despises you? You can't engage in trade, you can't catch a flight out of there or get on a boat, even if you had the money to do so, if you ned medicine, say, you're constantly at the mercy of the aforementioned military force that despises you.

You're answering with what you want to believe you'd think, because you know that the force that despises this hypothetical you is Israel. I don't think Arabs lack rationality or intelligence at all. Non more than anybody else. If I had to say who I thought were the most irrational and unintelligent people I've dealt with for a long time, it would be Zionists.

But because I also see the Arabs as full human beings, I recognise that they will react as all human beings will to injustice. That doesn't mean becoming psychopaths like Hamas, but it does mean refusing to give up on your right to live with dignity and freedom.
