For whatever percentage of people who are interested, I've decided to copy and paste this tweet from Rowling into every article I see on Medium that misrepresents her. You may, of course, disagree with her position on trans issues. But believing these takes before you've read them does you a disservice.

And to the author, you seem to be suggesting that being cisgender, white and/or rich is as wrong as being a transphobe. Are you actually equating these things? Because one is really not like the others. Anyway, here's the tweet:

I respect every trans person’s right to live any way that feels authentic and comfortable to them. I’d march with you if you were discriminated against on the basis of being trans. At the same time, my life has been shaped by being female. I do not believe it’s hateful to say so. - JK Rowling

Again, you might disagree, but this doesn't sound like somebody who hates trans people. She's reiterated this sentiment many times in her other writings on the subject.
