… therapist in training, and there's a very clear psychological dynamic playing out in this country: Us liberals claiming the high ground and instructing the other side on morals drives them further right, further into the arms of the one that validates them: Trump. Yes, there is a place for pointing out falsehood, and yes, we need to vent our rage and disgust to our friends. Then we need to figure out how to move this country forward. Name-calling and demonization just pump more life into this poisonous circus.

As to your point about Biden, I'm not saying that nobody wants him to be president, but the fact that this was anywhere near close, strongly suggests that plenty of people don't. Trump actually gained votes in some demographics.
I don't think Biden is a bad guy, I just think there were much more compelling candidates. But I'll every so gladly take him over Trump😂
