God, I swear, talking to Zionists is like talking to people with brain damage, and the only part of the brain that remains fully functional is the bit that seeks victimhood. No shame, no logic, no empathy, only victimhood. And even this faculty fails you when it's convenient.
I would bet every penny I own that if I wound you up right, you could wax lyrical for hours about the rapes and murders and "beheaded babies" that took place on Oct 7th. You'd happily, if it were convenient for you, describe this as the second Shoah and Israel's 9/11. And to be extremely clear, while I disapprove of the lies and hyperbole that have risen up around that day, Oct 7th was indefensible. It was a truly terrible day and a brutal series of war crimes. I'm on record condemning it unequivocally.
And yet, because it's convenient, you now present me with the story of A SINGLE JEW, who is undoubtedly being horribly mistreated, as a counterbalance to all that. And you conveniently forget that the main driver of the current antisemitism in the middle east towards Jews is, ah, you guessed it! The Arab/Israel conflict! It even mentions this point right there in the article you linked.
Again, because I know you're hunting for victimhood or words to manipulate in every line, I absolutely, unequivocally oppose antisemitism. And I oppose it just as much when Israel's atrocities are used as an excuse to demonise or attack Jews in general.
As I always try to make clear, and as people like you try to obfuscate as you hide those atrocities behind the Holocaust or behind Jewish persecution in general, Jewishness and Zionism are not the same thing. Actually, in many ways, they're opposite. That's why, to come full circle, anti-Zionism has nothing to do with antisemitism.
