God yes. That and nepotism are by far the biggest "un-levelers" in society (though the benefits of nepotism and wealth are usually closely related I guess). But exactly, just imagine if we taught kids that if they don't have rich, well connected parents, they were at a huge disadvantage for the rest of their lives.

I mean there's a degree to which it's true, but it's also an absolutely ridiculous thing to put in children's heads.
