Haha, no I definitely don't think I am. But as a psychologist, surely you have to also admit that people's motivations on a public, broadly anonymous, potentially profitable platform are unlikely to be wholly sincere.

The internet brings out people's worst and pettiest instincts easily enough by itself. Add a platform where you can receive praise and earn money by being as sensationalist and mean-spirited as possible, regardless of whether you make any sense, and I don't think you can look at it as a fair reflection of society. See also Twitter, Facebook, and the comment section of literally every single YouTube video ever created.

Not only that, but many people are simply afraid to say what they really think. If only you could see the number of private messages I receive on some of my articles, from black people and white people, who are afraid to express their agreement publicly for fear of some kind of recrimination. Writing honestly about race in 2021 (or at any time really) is not for the thin-skinned. Whereas if you're happy to write hateful nonsense and twist the truth, all you need to do is ignore or block the people who challenge you.

Lots of the people writing in rags like "An Injustice" to pick a particularly egregious example, are kids who have no idea about anything except that they're supposed to view absolutely everything as some sort of...well, injustice. This is definitely a problem. It's a mindset that is being actively encouraged in teenagers today.

But it's a mindset that's only possible in people who have never found themselves butting up against the reality of trying to solve problems instead of simply complaining about them. There have always been people like that. The goal, as far as I'm concerned, is to bring as many people as possible over to the problem solving side. The whiners will burn themselves out. They don't have the resolve to actually achieve anything.
