Haha, sounds like you're more open-minded than I am. I've yet to hear an argument for identity politics that I found even remotely persuasive.

I can't imagine a world where dividing ourselves by arbitrary characteristics leads to anything but more misery. Nor can I understand why the colour of our skin is a more meaningful way to do that dividing than, say, the colour of our hair.

People say we're tribal creatures and that's true. But the only thing that differentiates humans from animals (present penguins excepted of course), is our ability to reason our way past our stupider instincts.

People who don't want to do that reasoning, whatever identity they lay claim to, are on the wrong side of history. Or if they're not, then the future is completely screwed😅
