Haha, what is this? You think he did that for no reason? That he switched to an all-meat diet because he was secretly right-wing? His daughter, switched to an all-meat diet years earlier that helped, I believe, with some severe auto-immune issues. He decided to try the same. He also got hooked on pain medication if I remember correctly. His health issues and dietary choices are obviously utterly unrelated to his political views. What is your point?

He's been fighting against identity politics for a while, I think he was often right about that in the beginning. Or at least was making a principled point. And he wasn't fighting against feminism he was fighting against a particular, rather toxic brand of "feminism" that collectivises all men into an "enemy" in much the same way I'm describing in this article. The same brand of "feminism" that tried to ruin then-lifelong-feminist, Cassie Jay's life for making a film about men's issues, for example.

Agree or disagree with that earlier version, the ridiculous, nuance-free caricature he's turned into in the past three years or so bears almost no resemblance to the guy he started out as. Yes, I absolutely think the attacks on him made him less nuanced. I've seen the same process at work on people again and again and again.

And then, of course, never willing to self-reflect or take responsibility, the same people who contributed to the radicalisation say, "oh no, it wasn't us, he was like that when we found him."
