You don't think, maybe, the more relevant piece here is the show of understanding of the fact that The Zionists stole their country? Do you think "violent extremism" is necessary to object to that? Do you think that might explain the hostility that had never existed before they started stealing the Palestinians' land/homes?
Also, Ben-Gurion doesn't mention violent extremism at all, and indeed, admits that if he were in their place, he would feel the same way, but you have no compunction about inserting, ninety years later, your feelings about what he might have meant.
