Hi Sean! This is such an overlooked point nowadays. We’re in such a rush to label people who hurt us “toxic” or “narcissistic” that we’ve stopped considering that maybe we weren’t perfect either.
Of course, avoiding any need for self-examination is exactly why we’re tempted to dehumanise people in this way. Great article.
