Hmm, I think this is tricky. A lot of (most?) people are strongly affected by what people say about them. In fact I think it's a rare person that can hear an accusation, even if it's untrue, and genuinely not take it personally. This is amplified by how public everything is in the social media age.
I think that's why the charge of racism or sexism or transphobia is so often used as a weapon to silence people. Individuals, institutions and even giant corporations bend over backwards, avoiding all logic and common sense, to avoid these accusations.
Also, the third group or racists are the only people I'm really interested in reaching. The other two won't change, at least not through persuasion. These people will either die out or see society leave them behind.
