I completely agree with you. Yes, much of the West is built on injustice. I think it's inevitable that we'll pay a heavy price for that if we don't change. It's an underrated point that people who advocate for justice aren't just being altruistic, they're being pragmatic.

An unequal society can't last forever. And as Israel is discovering, they usually end in great suffering for the people who used to be on top. Ours can't last as it is either. As we or our children will inevitably discover. I truly hope that we all learn this lesson with the least amount of suffering and bloodshed possible.
