I didn't claim a genocide. Partly because I know people end up wasting time quibbling about the word itself rather than the objective fact that test of thousands of innocent people are being killed. You talk as if genocide means that every single member of a group must be wiped out, even though you could simply go and look up the definition to realise that you're wrong. Yes, words have meaning.
I accept the "narrative" that Israel has spent decades cruelly oppressing Palestinians because I've taken the time to look at the situation as carefully and objectively as I could, instead of just thoughtlessly absorbing propaganda.
There's so much information available about Israel's treatment of Palestinians. Human rights organisations both within and without Israel have covered it extensively. There are countless videos and documentaries by Americans, Israelis, and Palestinians, showing the conditions of the occupation. If you don't know what's going on, you have no excuse but laziness. But instead of making the effort, you blindly repeat the narrative that Israel wants you to accept.
Things like Hamas' numbers being inaccurate. Even though the staunchly Pro-Israel Biden White House, The UN, and even the Israeli intelligence services all use Hamas' figures and have concluded through independent verification that they're accurate (that's why Israeli officials never actually deny these figures, they simply say the figures are from Hamas to try to make you doubt them).
Hamas have reported casualty figures many times in the past years due to this conflict. They've always been accurate. Anybody even attempting to think objectively could realise this. Your failure to do so is a confession of your bias.
Things like the tunnels, which we've seen only limited evidence of, that somehow justify destroying around 55% of the buildings in Gaza.
Things like the claim that they've "routed" Hamas, with no evidence whatsoever other than the IDF's word. Is this not also a confession of your bias?
Seriously, are you aware of what's happening in Gaza and the West Bank? And I'm talking about before October 6th. Can you give me a single reason why the Palestinians have legitimate grievances with Israel? Do you understand the sides of the conflict well enough to be talking about them at all? Or are you just blindly repeating talking points from random people?
If you can't meaningfully articulate the opposing position, you're just blinded by propaganda.
