I don't understand why there should be a state based on religion. Happy for you to explain it to me, but I don't currently understand. There are around 4,000 active religions, not all of them "deserve" their own state.

And even if you accept the idea that there should be a state based on religion, I don't understand why it should be there. Or rather, I think I do, but it's nothing to do with religion or helping Jewish people.

Besides, the land that Israel/Palestine is on is more than big enough for the people who live on it to do so comfortably and peacefully. This senseless war has been raging for decades because of a few people on both sides who are too stupid/stubborn to accept this.
