I know what feminine is because being "feminine" is not something only women can do. Just as being "masculine" isn’t something only men can do. Long hair, make-up, pink dresses, submissiveness, things like this are considered feminine.
As Germaine Greer points out (note, the quote you're arguing with is by Greer, who is a woman), femininity (and masculinity) is a role, that men and women are encouraged to play.
Lots of women aren't feminine. Lots of men are. This is fine. The point I'm making in the article, is that being a feminine man doesn't make you a woman.
