I might agree that anybody who couldn't see that this is dangerous was an apologist for white supremacy, but a) I'm not saying it's not dangerous, and b) this is almost 100% wrong.
Rittenhouse didn't buy the gun (though as the law currently stands, it's perfectly acceptable for any adult, of any colour, to buy an assault rifle), and he didn't go there with the "intention to intimidate and kill those he disagreed with" (I have no idea why people keep saying he "drove against state lines" as if the act of driving across state lines is somehow sinister or illegal. Rittenhouse's dad lives in Kenosha).
We agree Rittenhouse should never have been there. But the reason he was there, is that rioters had spent the previous two days setting fire to people's businesses and destroying people's property and the police did nothing about it. Eventually, a resident of Kenosha sent out an appeal for armed citizens to come and protect the town.
This is all kinds of messed up. But it's nothing to do with white supremacy. If I lived in Kenosha and the police were doing nothing to protect me or my business, I'd probably have been glad for anybody who's trying to stop the looting. Anyone who can't see that isn't even trying to think straight.
