I never claimed to be either of these. You're the one comparing yourself to an anthropologist, of black people no less.

No, I wasn't asking you to tell me what Sowell thinks, or what some other black intellectual thinks. What do YOU think? I know Sowell's position, but as somebody not simply looking to confirm my own pre-existing beliefs by ignoring all counter evidence, I also have an understanding of other arguments and the relevant history. By doing this I'm able to form my own opinions rather than assuming that everything Thomas Sowell says is correct (spoiler: it's not).

You mention "horrific injustice" what are you refering to specifically? What part do you think these injustices had to play in black people's housing situation? How do you think things like what happened to Black Wall Street impacted black people's belief that they would be left free to pursue their own prosperity without interference?
