I think it's very difficult talk about this if we're going to use emotive language like "destroying the state of Israel."
I'm not talking about destroying anything. I'm talking about everybody who lives there continuing to live there, I'm talking about continuing to call it Israel, and I'm talking about giving Palestinians who have lived there for generations equal rights.
If you object to this proposal, fair enough, I'm interested to hear why. But I don't find the argument that this stretch of land can only ever be for Jews, very convincing. In fact, apply it to almost any other demographic or religion and it gets a bit worrying.
