I think "opposed' is too simplistic a way to talk about these issues.
I'm for programs which repair the damage done to black communities by segregation, Jim Crow, etc. Affirmative action has done a mediocre job of that in practice. In fact, the largest beneficiaries of AA have been white women.
Reparations also is a particularly difficult thing to implement sensibly. I'm not against black people getting some cash. Not at all. I just don't think it's a very good way to really fix things. And I can't see any way that it's not completely arbitrary at this point.
