I think this is a key confusion about the concept of colourblindness. Just because I don't think we should JUDGE people by the colour of their skin doesn't mean that I think we should stop talking about race or addressing racial injustice.

As you say, there are clearly issues which affect racial groups and we can't address them if we pretend that race has no effect on outcomes or ignore the racism that leads to those disparities.

All I'm saying is that I don't believe we should decide who we trust based on the colour of their skin. Ther eare black people we shouldn't trust as far as we could throw them, there are white people who have dedicated their lives to ending racial injustice. Let's not lean into racism as we try to fight it. Let's judge individuals by what they say, what they do, and what they believe, instead of what they look like.
