I would too, I spent a long time looking for any statemtn from them about his. But ultimately, I thiink it's possible to say that some initiatives are backwards enough that any rationale is still misguided. It's not as if we haven't tried segregation, in numerous countries. It's simply not a good idea, and anybody who is trying to fight racism in a way that makes any sense should be aware of that.
A valid point about the fact that some find these discussions difficult, but again, that's my point. These discussion are inevitably going to be uncomfortable. They tackle issues which have caused genuine pain and suffering. That's no excuse for not having them. Prioritising comfort over effectiveness is not a recipe for progress.
