I'm clearly talking about safe-guarding failures here. It's right there in the sentence. The issue isn’t that Gervais didn't rag on trans people enough.

Fair enough, the rights I'm talking about here are things like single sex paces, like sport and prisons. I'm quite clear about the nature of the problem too.

"The problem isn’t trans people, the problem is the ease with which some of these policies allow men, not trans women, men, to gain access to female spaces"

As for the support:

"Despite trans-Twitter’s insistence to the contrary, most people, myself very much included, support trans rights and trans people. We want trans people to live with dignity and security. We support trans people’s right to proper healthcare and lives free from discrimination. We understand that the solution to these safeguarding concerns isn’t simply to abandon trans women to the dangers they’ll face in male-only spaces."

Still waiting to see where I framed trans people “entirely as a problem.”
