I'm going to need a source on this. Given that 89% of murdered journalists are men, it seems very unlikely to be true, no? And while I don't have stats on male refugees, there are plenty of stories of men dying as they try to flee conflict zones. Again, I'd need to see some data on this.
Plus there's the fact that, in Ukraine for example, men weren't allowed to flee. They were forced to fight and die, whether they wanted to or not. True, this will decrease their representation among refugees, but it's hardly an example of male privilege.
Most people are too busy working and caring for other to spend hours spreading hate. The idea that men aren't busy working when men are still far more likely to be the primary or sole earners in their household is surreal.
Yes, we should be having collaborative dialogues on how to better circumstances for everyone. I agree wholeheartedly. But it's difficult to have those conversations unless we're willing to think seriously and carefully about what life for women and men is actually like.
