I'm not sure I can think of anything that isn't easier to say than to do😉 Sadly, sometimes we need to do things that are difficult for our own sake if not for anybody else's.

But your logic is a bit of a stretch here isn't it? You're more offended by the kid in America because of the vanishingly unlikely possibility that at some point in the future he might be your boss? That sounds like an unnecessarily complicated way to live your life.

For what my opinion is worth, the person saying it isn't the issue. I can't change them. So either I do something about my own thinking or I leave myself dependent on the hope that some idiot won't say mean words to me. As I said, if there was practical way of making that work, I'd be all ears. But people don't seem to work that way.
