I'm not sure if this was meant to be provocative, but I don't see any problem with this at all. Yes, you're being honest, you expressed your opinion in a completely reasonable way, howcould there be a problem?

I'm not criticising anybody's feelings about the special, I didn't find it that funny either. I'm criticising the double standards and the extremist way in which some people expressed those feelings.
