I'm qute fond of my "no waiting" toilet privileges😁 But I'd be happy to give them up if not for a few issues with this idea.

First, theres's no practical way to police maleness/femaleness in a bathroom. Trans women who "pass" already use female bathrooms without being questioned. And secondly, a female bathroom would include trans men, which, if anything, would make matters more complicated.

Bathrooms are policed by how you look. And I think that people who obivously don't look like women should have the decency not to use women's bathrooms. There's so much focus on this debate on how to validate trans women, but so little on showing some basic respect for the comfort of women. Mainly, to be fair, from "trans" people who are clearly autogynephiles rather than genuine transgender/sexual people.
