In keeping with the theme of the article, it’s difficult to be sure. I think it was his manager who said that Mike didn’t believe in the flat Earth, but every time Mike himself spoke on the topic, from at least as far back as 2017, he’s said that he does.

Even in his failed 2016 kickstarter campaign, he said that nobody had ever been to space before. So the fact that he got support from the flat-Earthers after that, doesn’t mean he didn’t already believe some wild stuff. Being smart enough to build a rocket doesn’t mean you can’t simultaneously be dumb.😅
