It's not about what anybody "deserves."

Women "deserve" a world where there is no rape, no sexism, and where they have absolute, infallible control over whether they get pregnant.

Every child "deserves" a world where they grow up in happy, loving, stable homes, get access to, at the very least, the basic amenities of life, and are treated with kindness regardless of how they look or where they're from.

Everybody "deserves" to live their lives in peace and security.

If you have any concrete ideas on how to make that happen, believe me, I'm all ears. But you don't. Sadly, nobody does. So we recognise that there are evil, dishonest people in society and, in the case of women's spaces, try to create accomodations that keep the maximum number of women safe in admittedly limited ways.

Don't try to ponificate about women's safety when you want to effectively abolish women's spaces with no concern for the safety and privacy they offer. Don't pretend you care about women's safety when your sole concern is the immediate validation of trans women. Even when it's pointed out to you that this creates obvious safeguarding concerns.

Yes, women deserve to feel safe everywhere. But sadly, that's not realistic. Do they deserve to feel safe anywhere? That's what we're really talking about here.
