It's so crazy how determined some people replying seem to be to miss the point. The vast majority of this reply has absolutely zero to do with the Rittenhouse case or my article, so I'm not going to reply to those points, but the line I quoted, is basically the same argument I'm making. The issue is the law. This is in no way a black issue.

A white boy shot three white men in self defence. The problem isn't white supremacy. The problem is the collection of circumstances that allowed that boy to be in that situation in the first place. If you think Candace Owens is saying there should be stricter gun laws then you haven't been paying attention.

Actually read what I'm saying. Don't just start from the position that anybody asking whether a case that exclusively involved white people is best viewed through a lens of white supremacy, must be defending white supremacy.
