😅 Jesus, I think this might win the award for stupidest, most disingenuous reply in this comment section. And there is some stiff competition.
Sadly, there has been violence in the Middle East for decades. There has not, however, been a terrorist attack that so deliberately and savagely targeted 1400 innocent civilians. This was not inevitable. It is absolutely monstrous to shrug your shoulders and imagine it as. Just as it's monstrous to describe it as "a heroic example" or to tweet a picture of a paragliding terrorist the day after the attack or to march through the streets cheering and shouting "Gas the Jews.".
And, of course, it had little to do with the conditions Palestinians are suffering under. Hamas want to exterminate the Jews. They could use the money they spend on weapons to improve conditions in Gaza instead of just buying mansions for their leadership. But they don't. Because they hate Jews far more than they care about Palestinians. In fact, they kill Palestinians too.
p.s. You realise "no claps" is a pretty sad burn on an article with ~6k claps, right? I don't write for claps, so I don't really mind you choosing not to, but come on. Try not to be completely braindead.
