I'm talking about banning blood transfusions for everybody because Jehovah's Witnesses don't believe in them. Not forcing Jehovah's witnesses to have them. And no, "they" don't force Jehova's witnesses to have blood transfusions.
There have been some case, where Jehovah's Witnesses have been forced to allow their children to have blood transfusions in order to save their lives. That is because the child is not able to consent or refuse to medical treatment.
So yes, despite your boneheaded insistence that I'm not for bodily autonomy, I actually am. If an adult chooses to refuse a blood transfusion, I respect their right to do so. If an adult tries to prevent their child from having a life-saving blood transfusion, I'm not so keen on that.
Sane people aren't absolutists on important issues Eve. Sane people can handle the importance of nuance.
