Just a bit of sarcasm.

The cliched response when somebody is called out for being racist is "but I have black friends." Which is a stupid defence against the question of whether you did something racist. So I found it funny to imagine all thos millions of people who can't even fall back on this silly defence.

Obviously I'm not saying that anybody who doesn't have black friends is racist. But it's at least food for thought when 75% of white people have no non-white friends. 75%.

At the very least that's likely to lead to some meaningful blind spots when it comes to racism. And a lack of empathy for racial issues.

If you make the assumption that people will be less compatible with each other as friends because they have different coloured skin, I think it's worth thinking about why.
