Rittenhouse's parents didn't put him in harm's way, Rittenhouse drove himself to Kenosha. This particular lie has been debunked often enough that I'm surprised anybody still believes it. It was a rumour started by a random celebrity on Instagram and repeated by Rep. Karen Bass.

You can say his parents should have known where he was, and fair enough, but find me a parent in all the world who always knows where their 17 year old child is.

The "rabid political cult" was a mishmash of people who responded to a Facebook post asking for armed citizens to defend Kenosha. This after looters had spent two days setting fire to businesses and destroying property with little to no police response. Yes, the people most eager to form militia will often be bad groups. Rumour has it that groups like the Boogaloo Boys were there. But it's such painfully simplistic thinking to think that means he's automatically one of them.

And I'm not claiming that there aren't entrenched racial disparities in the justice system. I literally say the opposite in the article. Why do you bother to reply to articles that you haven't even taken the time to read with information that you haven't even checked??!! What a waste of everybody's time!
