No genius, the violence that ALL religions perpetrate is way older than Israel. You could make a very strong argument that religion is at the root of this mess. In fact, I've already made it.

As for this ever so desperate and predictable whataboutism about Sudan and the UAE, first of all, I'm extraordinarily confident that if I devoted all of my writing to the human rights crises in Sudan, you wouldn't accuse me of bias. But I write a few articles about Israel as they commit genocide and here you are pooping your pants.

And why am I writing about Israel, you ask? Well, Bassem Youssef makes this point so beautifully I'll let you hear it from him. The day that any of this applies to Oman or Egypt or Qatar is the day that I set my sights firmly upon them.
