Again, whataboutism is fine. If you want to criticise cultures that don't offer freedom of religion or LGBT rights or women's equality, that's fine. I'm right there with you.

But you'll excuse me if I don't take your aspirations to moral superiority seriously while you sign off on the slaughter of tens of thousands of children as part of a land grab.

Also, you might do well to remember that equality for women and people of colour and LGBT people is far from complete in the West. And wasn't a thing at all until around 60 years ago.
