No. No I'm not. Why are you people so utterly, embarrasingly ridiculous? How do you feel no shame as you constantly try to warp reality to make yourselves look like everybody is against you?
Literally, in this conversation with you, just a few replies ago, I said that Hamas are evil. I've written several articles condemning Hamas. Including, but not limited to, their rape of women. But you still accuse me of excusing the actions of Hamas (who you lazily conflate with all Palestinians) because you're so utterly desperate to play the victim. It's deeply, deeply pathetic.
To make it nice and simple for you, I've been 100% consistent in my opposition to and condemnation of all violence against civilians.
When it comes to Hamas, I couldn't care less if every single one of those psychos is killed or put in prison. I feel broadly the same about much of the Israeli government. Neither of them are "reasonable." But I have a big problem, as I've put in writing several times, when their sins are projected onto the entirety of their citizenry. Whether those citizens are Israeli or Palestinian.
However, as around 30 times more Palestinians citizens have been killed for their government's evil than Israeli citizens, and as their slaughter is still ongoing, I consider stopping that to be the priority right now.
Only Israel can stop that. And before you say something ridiculous like, "hAmAs CoUlD sToP It bY rElEaSiNg ThE HoStAgEs," no, they couldn't. Netanyahu has made that very clear and has turned down several hostage release deals. Much to the outrage of many people in Israel. If Israel agreed to stop fighting and negotiate now, the hostages would be home within a week. And Israel refusing and continuing to kill Palestinians does nothing to persuade Hamas or free the hostages. All it does is kill innocent Palestinians.
One last thing, Israel's many "far from perfections" are not "mistakes." And you don't need to constantly add this cowardly, weasel word bullshit about other countries in the world. The actions of the Israeli government and IDF are part of a deliberate, premeditated effort designed to steal Palestinian land and collectively punish Palestinians for daring to exist on what Netanyahu and those like him see as Israel's God-given property. And the extremist settler terrorists should be jailed, not simply "condemned."
In many ways, Israel is not like other nations. Israel is relatively (though sadly not entirely) unique in its modern-day oppression of the native population of the land it's on. It's almost entirely unique in its belief that it has a divine right to carry out this oppression because Sky Daddy promised Jews the land in a book. And it is unique in that, even though it has carried on this oppression for so many years, in plain sight of the world and against international law, it enjoys the unconditional military and financial support of much of the western world.
