No, we're not talking about immigrants. Not sure how you came to that conclusion as the word "immigrant" doesn't appear even once in the article.

And even more confusing, how have you come to the conclusion that all other factors are equal?? This is a truly bizarre thing to say. There is inequality in most Western societies by almost any metric you care to name. That's what pretty much every societal issue we have is about, no? Gay rights, racism, sexism, they're all about the fact that all other factors are usually not equal.

But anyway, according to data from the Ministry of Justice, the majority of knife crime in England and Wales is committed by white people (https://fullfact.org/crime/are-majority-youth-knife-offenders-minority-ethnic/). In London specifically, non-white people are responsible for around two-thirds (England doesn't break down crime statistics by race). So yes, a clear majority. But 1 in 3 stabbings is white on some other ethnicity. Those happen "round your way" too.

But the point I'm making in the article, which you seem to have missed, is that a) poverty, education, etc would be infinitely more useful and meaningful metrics than skin colour for analysing this problem, and b) that you're looking at the actions of a few thousand people (or in your case, I suspect, a handful of news stories) and using them to condemn millions.
