I’m not saying anybody needs to confess anything. I’m writing about a school where a child was told to confess his privilege because his father was white. I’m writing about it purely to criticise it. I’m explaining that this is a horribly flawed way to think about people and their lives.
But unfortunately, it seems you’re so programmed to read the work of a black person and take it for granted that I’m attacking white people, that the actual point I’m making can’t get through your skull.
