Nobody deserves slurs. Because slurs only ever reveal the bigotry and stupidity of the person using them.

If you want to call somebody a bootlicker or a sycophant or even a simpleton who completely missed the point of the article, you can do that. And you never have to mention, or even know, the colour of their skin.

But if you choose to highlight the colour of their skin or their religion or their sexuality, or anything else in your condemnation, it's because you are a bigot.

Would you ever call a white politician an Uncle Tom? No. And you know why.
