Nope, not at all. I haven't even hinted at the idea that any subjects should be off limits. And I'm not offended either! Nobody's accusing me of whiteness 😅

I'm simply pointing out the fact, which I think you already understand, that toxic racial discourse and gaslighting terms like "whiteness" don't do anything to improve anything for the lives of black people. In fact, it's pretty clear that they just drive people further into their silos.

My writing is hard evidence that it's possible to talk frankly about racism without offending the sensibilities of white people. In general, white people aren't offended because you talk honestly about the things white people did in the past. They're offended by the implication that all white people today are evil because of it. This makes perfect sense. And is true of everybody as long as you choose the right issue.

I'm not offended if a woman points out to me that almost all rapists are men. It's a fact. But I am offended if she says that I'm therefore complicit in rape. I would be offended if she described rape as an inevitable quility of maleness. And if a woman wants to write an #allmenarerapists article because "that's where she's at", she has every right to do so. But she makes men less likely to engage with the issue. At least with her.

Again, I think you're way more than smart enough to already understand all this. So I'm not sure why you're pretending you don't.
